18 August, 2025 – Interns Conducting Asset Management Checking
On 18 August 2025, our dedicated interns actively participated in an Asset Management Checking exercise. This initiative provided them with valuable hands-on experience in monitoring and verifying institutional resources, an important part of operational efficiency.
The activity not only enhanced their practical understanding of asset management procedures but also fostered essential workplace skills such as attention to detail, accountability, and teamwork. These competencies will serve as a strong foundation for their future professional journeys.
13–14 August 2025 – ASEAN TVET Conference
The ASEAN TVET Conference 2025 brought together leaders, educators, and innovators in Technical and Vocational Education and Training from across the region.
Our very own CEO, Mr. K, took to the stage to share insights on advancing skills development, fostering industry partnerships, and promoting cross-border collaboration in education. His address highlighted the importance of equipping the next generation with practical, future-ready skills to meet global workforce demands.
KSTVET is proud to have been represented at this prestigious event, contributing to the dialogue that shapes the future of vocational education in ASEAN.










12 August 2025 – Culinary Arts Workshop: Filleting Fish and Marinating
On 12 August 2025, KNOWSKILLS TVET College hosted a hands-on Culinary Arts Workshop focusing on two essential professional kitchen skills: filleting fish and marinating techniques.
Participants gained practical experience in precision fish preparation, including proper knife handling, deboning, and portioning methods. The session also explored flavour enhancement through marinating, covering the use of herbs, spices and oils to elevate taste and texture.
This workshop was designed to strengthen the technical expertise of aspiring chefs and culinary students, bridging the gap between theory and real-world kitchen application.
5 August 2025 – Culinary Arts Workshop: Debone Chicken and Marinating
The Culinary Arts Workshop held on August 5, 2025, gave participants hands-on experience in essential poultry preparation skills.
Led by experienced instructors, students learned how to properly debone a whole chicken and apply marination techniques that enhance both flavor and texture. These foundational techniques are key for aspiring chefs aiming to master classical and modern culinary practices.
Workshop Highlights:- Knife safety and proper handling during deboning
- Step-by-step breakdown of whole chicken anatomy
- Techniques for flavor infusion through various marination methods

31 July 2025 – KSTVET College Students Visit the Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair
On 31 July 2025, students from KSTVET College had the opportunity to attend the Malaysian International Food and Beverage Trade Fair, one of the largest industry events in the region.
This educational visit exposed students to the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the food and beverage sector. They were able to interact with industry professionals, attend live demonstrations, and gain insights into global food standards and practices.
Learning outcomes from the visit included:

- Understanding of food safety, packaging, and sustainability trends

29 July 2025 – Culinary Arts Workshop
The Culinary Arts Workshop held on July 29, 2025, provided students with hands-on experience in preparing creative, tropical-inspired dishes. This interactive session highlighted the importance of flavor balancing, ingredient pairing, and presentation skills in modern culinary practice.
Dishes prepared during the workshop included:

- Unripe Papaya and Watermelon Rind Vegetable Dish
Students explored sustainable cooking techniques by utilizing fruit rinds and unripe ingredients, learning to minimize food waste while maximizing flavor and nutrition.

July 21, 2025 – Asfar Interns Learn to Create Student Testimonials
On July 21, 2025, our Asfar intern students engaged in a hands-on learning experience in video production under the guidance of Ms. Liyana.
This session focused on creating student testimonial videos, where interns explored various aspects of visual storytelling—from scripting and interviewing to shooting and editing. The activity aimed to develop both technical and communication skills, as well as creative expression for digital media content creation.

July 15, 2025 – Culinary Arts Workshop: Vegetable Curry & Sides
Our talented Culinary Arts students showcased their creativity and skills in a hands-on workshop focused on preparing a hearty Vegetable Curry accompanied by a variety of flavorful vegetable sides.
This session emphasized the importance of flavor balance, plating techniques, and the cultural relevance of traditional vegetarian cuisine. Students worked collaboratively under the guidance of our chef instructors to explore ingredient pairings, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
The workshop not only highlighted core culinary competencies but also allowed students to express their passion and innovation through food. Guests and staff were treated to a beautifully prepared and delicious vegetarian spread.
14 July 2025 – Enrolment Day
Welcome to KSTVET! Our Enrolment Day on 14 July 2025 was a vibrant and exciting event, marking the beginning of a new academic journey for our incoming students.

8 July 2025 – Culinary Workshop
During the recent Culinary Workshop held at KSTVET, our talented participant Pithya showcased impressive culinary skills and creativity through hands-on preparation of three exciting dishes.
This workshop provided participants with guided, practical experience in international and fusion cuisine. Under the supervision of our expert instructors, Pithya demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail in the kitchen.

8 July 2025 – FCC (Fundamentals of Content Creation) Short Programme
The Fundamentals of Content Creation short programme equips participants with essential knowledge and skills to thrive in today’s digital landscape.
Participants learn how to:
- Identify and understand their target audience
- Define clear communication goals
- Select the right platforms and content formats
- Generate impactful content ideas through research and trend analysis
- Produce high-quality visuals, copy, and multimedia content
- Promote content effectively across channels
- Track performance metrics and continuously improve through analytics
This hands-on course covers the full content creation process—from ideation to publication—empowering learners with real-world strategies to create, connect, and engage.
3 July 2025 – Art Workshop
Creativity knows no boundaries at KSTVET. During our vibrant Art Workshop, students from all programmes—including Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, Information Technology, and Business—tapped into their inner artists through the traditional medium of batik painting.
The event showcased how artistic expression connects us all, regardless of our fields. Future chefs, hoteliers, coders, and entrepreneurs each created beautiful pieces, proving that innovation and imagination are core to every profession.
This workshop not only nurtured creative confidence but also promoted cultural appreciation and personal growth in a fun, collaborative setting.








30 June 2025 – Saidina: Finance Strategy Learning Activity
At KSTVET, learning goes beyond the textbook. On June 30th, our students took part in a lively round of Saidina—a strategic board game used to reinforce financial literacy concepts introduced in their Introduction to Finance course.
This engaging activity blended fun with real-world decision-making. Students applied concepts such as budgeting, investing, risk-taking, and financial planning while building teamwork and communication skills.
The session demonstrated that education can be both meaningful and enjoyable, transforming the classroom into a space where strategic thinking and collaborative learning thrive.
June 30, 2025 – First Mini Toastmasters Club at KNOWSKILLS TVET College
KNOWSKILLS TVET College proudly launched its first Mini Toastmasters Club — a platform designed to empower students with effective public speaking, leadership, and communication skills.
This initiative marks a major step in cultivating confident speakers and future leaders by offering structured sessions that encourage personal growth, self-expression, and peer support in a professional environment.

24 June 2024 – Mock Front Office Department Management Meeting
The Mock Front Office Department Management Meeting was held as part of KSTVET’s hospitality training programme. This simulated session gave students hands-on experience in hotel front office operations, emphasizing real-world communication, decision-making, and coordination among various hotel departments.
Participants assumed managerial roles and tackled common challenges faced in daily hotel operations. The exercise fostered critical thinking, time management, and teamwork—skills essential to success in the hospitality industry.

As part of its industry exposure initiative, KSTVET College organised a learning visit to ANCASA Hotel on April 30, 2025. This hands-on experience allowed students to gain valuable insights into the daily operations and standards of the hospitality industry.

During this hands-on workshop, KSTVET had the opportunity to learn from guest experts about digital content creation powered by artificial intelligence. The session focused on how AI tools can revolutionize content production across various media formats.
