Graduation ceremonies are meaningful, joyous and memorable occasions. The KNOWSKILLS TVET COLLEGE management hopes that you will give us your full cooperation to ensure the smooth running of this year’s ceremony. We hope that this Graduation Ceremony Procedures and Guidelines document will be useful to you.

GRADUATION CEREMONY

Congratulations!

Our heartiest congratulations to you on the successful completion of your programme and wish to invite you to our Graduation Ceremony 2024 as scheduled below:

The KNOWSKILLS TVET COLLEGE Ceremony will be held on 18 September 2024 (Wednesday) at The Grey Box, Level G, GMBB Bukit Bintang. This ceremony consists of ONE session.

8.30am - 9.00am

Gowning for Local Students

Lunch at Level The Grey Box for International students, after which to depart to Regal Hotel Park for check out.

11.30am - 12.30pm

Lunch at Level 7 for Parents, Graduands, Invited Guest and VIPs

Returning of Gown and hood at THE GREY BOX, GMBB, No.2 Jalan Robertson, Bukit Bintang, 50150 Kuala Lumpur

GRADUATION REGISTRATION FEES

GRADUATION PACKAGE (with 2 guests)	RM250
ADDITIONAL GUESTS (Max for 2 pax)	RM100 per pax

The graduation fee RM250 includes the following:

• One (1) x Hire of the academic gown set per graduate (Black Gown, Hood)
• Scroll holder with Logo
• One (1) 8” x 10” half pose photo of being presented on stage”

Other Terms & Conditions
Students MUST return the gown before 6.00pm upon completion of the graduation ceremony.

Student will be charged RM200 for missing gown.

Graduands are to email the request for additional guest to kstvetgraduation@knowskillstvet.com subject to availability

CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION

Graduands are to confirm their participation by submitting the Confirmation Reply Slip from the below online form together with the bank in slip as proof of payment to KNOWSKILLS TVET COLLEGE. You may also e-mail to kstvetgraduation@knowskillstvet.com or walk in.

No replacement letter will be given if the invitation letter are lost or misplaced on GRADUATIONs day. Guests are required to present the letter to the usherers at the respective entrances before entering the hall.

Guests must be seated in the hall by 2.30pm

COLLECTING AND RETURNING GRADUATION ATTIRE

COLLECTION of GRADUATION ceremony gown and hood will be held as scheduled below:

RETURNING of GRADUATION ceremony gown and hood will be held as scheduled below:
(graduands must sign the Graduation Gown Collection and Return Form)

Date : 18 September 2024 (Wednesday)
Time : Before 6.00pm
Venue : THE GREY BOX, GMBB, No.2 Jalan Robertson, Bukit Bintang, 50150 Kuala Lumpur

All graduans must return the gown and hood by 6.00pm on 18 September 2024.

Penalty for late return of GRADUATIONs Attire

A penalty of RM50.00 per day will be charged if the graduate fails to return the GRADUATIONs Attire within the deadline.

CONFERMENT OF CERTIFICATES
Before certificates are conferred during the ceremony, graduands are requested to BE SEATED according to the programme, name and numbering.

TIPS ON WEARING THE GRADUATIONS ATTIRE

The GRADUATIONs attire must be worn smartly and in a proper manner.
Female graduands

are requested to wear traditional attire/ formal attire. Skirts must be at least knee length.
Male graduands

should wear dark colour “lounge suits” with matching ties. Shirts should be light colour with long sleeves. The hair length should not touch the collar.
No adornment of any kind should be worn outside the robe and no items (i.e. purse/ backpack) may be carried.
All graduands should wear black shoes.

GUESTS’ ATTIRE

Male guests are required to wear formal suits/ batik shirts with proper shoes.

Female guests are required to wear formal suits with proper shoes. Skirts must be at least knee length.

Guests who do not wear proper attire WILL NOT BE ABLE to enter the Main Procession Hall.

COLLECTION OF CERTIFICATES

For graduands who have not yet collected their certificates and wish to do so on the convocation day, kindly send your request via email to ksinfo@knowskillstvet.com. However, please note that certificates will not be issued to graduands with any outstanding fees owed to KNOWSKILLS TVET COLLEGE.

END OF CEREMONY

At the end of the ceremony, graduands should only leave the Hall when instructed to do so.

Refreshments will be served at the end of ceremony.

CAR PARKING FACILITIES

Car park facilities are available at the GMBB, Bukit Bintang. Cashless CarPark that accepts TouchnGo, Visa / Mastercard and Boost.

Parking rates are:
First 2 Hours or Part Thereof RM 3.00
Every Subsequent 30 Mins or Part Thereof RM 1.00
Maximum Per Entry Per Day RM 10.00
