14 May 2026, MAH Hospitality Week Expo at Berjaya Times Square
KSTVET participated in the MAH Hospitality Week Expo held at Berjaya Times Square on 14 May 2026. The event brought together hospitality professionals, educators, students, and industry leaders to explore the latest developments, career opportunities, and innovations within the hospitality and tourism sector.

During the expo, KSTVET showcased its hospitality and culinary programmes while engaging with prospective students, industry partners, and members of the public. The event also provided valuable networking opportunities and insights into current hospitality industry trends and workforce demands.
12 May 2026, Class Session: Programming

KSTVET conducted an engaging programming class session focused on strengthening students’ understanding of coding fundamentals, logical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills.

During the session, students explored key programming concepts, learned how to write structured code, and applied their knowledge through hands-on exercises and guided activities.

7 May 2026, Appreciation Dinner by iBilik and Kingston Hotel

KSTVET was honored to attend the Appreciation Dinner hosted by iBilik and Kingston Hotel on 7 May 2026. The event brought together industry partners, collaborators, and guests in a meaningful evening dedicated to strengthening relationships, celebrating partnerships, and fostering future opportunities within the hospitality and education sectors.

The dinner also provided a valuable platform for networking, exchanging ideas, and exploring collaborative initiatives that contribute to the growth of vocational education and professional industry development.

4 May 2026 – Jonathan is teaching a student to use the academic calendar

Jonathan, a student at KNOWSKILLS TVET COLLEGE, is helping fellow students navigate the academic calendar. This peer-to-peer support initiative fosters collaboration and ensures all students stay on track with important academic dates and deadlines.

27 April 2026 – Sexual Harassment Awareness

KSTVET conducted a Sexual Harassment Awareness session aimed at promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals. The programme focused on educating participants about appropriate workplace behaviour, personal boundaries, and the importance of mutual respect.

Participants were introduced to the different forms of sexual harassment, including verbal, non-verbal, physical, and online misconduct. The session also highlighted the impact such behaviour can have on individuals and organisations, both emotionally and professionally.

The programme emphasised the importance of speaking up, understanding reporting channels, and supporting those affected. It also reinforced the responsibility of every individual in maintaining a safe environment and preventing inappropriate conduct.

Through this awareness initiative, participants gained a clearer understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and the steps they can take to contribute to a respectful and professional community.

23 April 2026 – Workshop: Professional Customer Service and Etiquette

KSTVET conducted a Professional Customer Service and Etiquette Workshop aimed at enhancing participants’ interpersonal and communication skills in a professional environment.

The workshop focused on building strong customer relationships, maintaining professionalism, and delivering high-quality service across various industries. 21 April 2026 – Certificates Giving

7 April 2026 – Grooming Confidence Talk

KSTVET organised a Grooming Confidence Talk aimed at empowering participants with the knowledge and skills to present themselves professionally and confidently in both academic and workplace environments.

The session focused on building self-confidence through proper grooming habits, effective communication, and positive personal presentation. Participants were guided on how to make strong first impressions and maintain a professional image.

7 April – Money Smart: Protect It, Grow It, Own Your Future Presentation

KSTVET hosted the “Money Smart: Protect It, Grow It, Own Your Future” presentation to raise awareness on financial literacy and responsible money management among participants.

The session focused on equipping individuals with practical knowledge and strategies to make informed financial decisions, build sustainable habits, and secure their financial future.

12 March 2026 – Hari Raya Class Decoration

KSTVET students participated in a festive Hari Raya Class Decoration activity, bringing creativity and cultural appreciation into the learning environment.

Students worked together to decorate their classrooms with traditional Hari Raya elements such as ketupat designs, festive lights, and vibrant colours, creating a joyful and welcoming atmosphere.

This activity encouraged teamwork, creativity, and a deeper understanding of cultural traditions while fostering a strong sense of community among students.

11 March 2026 – IIP March - RVS

KSTVET hosted an International Immersion Programme (IIP) in March 2026 for students from the RVS Group of Institutions, India. The programme was designed to provide participants with exposure to international learning environments and industry practices.

As part of the programme, the students participated in an educational visit to the IKEA Warehouse. During the visit, they explored modern warehouse operations and were introduced to the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in logistics, inventory management, and operational efficiency.

The experience allowed the students to gain insights into how advanced technologies are integrated into real-world business operations, while also encouraging cross-cultural learning and collaboration.

9 March 2026 – Class Sessions: New Staff, Jonathan Teaching Public Speaking

KSTVET welcomed a new addition to our team, Jonathan, who conducted a class session focused on public speaking. The session introduced students to the fundamentals of clear communication, confidence building, and effective presentation techniques.

During the class, students participated in interactive activities designed to improve their speaking skills, including short presentations and communication exercises. 5 March 2026, F&B: Table Setting

KSTVET conducted a Food and Beverage (F&B) Table Setting session to introduce participants to the essential skills and standards required in professional dining service.

The programme focused on the proper arrangement of tableware, utensils, and dining elements to create an organized, elegant, and functional dining experience for guests. Participants were guided through the correct placement of plates, cutlery, glassware, and napkins according to standard hospitality practices.

Through hands-on practice, participants developed a clear understanding of how table presentation contributes to overall service quality and customer satisfaction in restaurants, hotels, and formal dining environments.

KSTVET conducted a practical Napkin Folding Workshop designed to enhance students’ creativity, precision, and presentation skills in hospitality and food & beverage service.

This hands-on session introduced participants to various professional napkin folding techniques commonly used in restaurants, hotels, and event settings. Students learned how proper table presentation elevates dining experiences and reflects service excellence.

11 February 2026 – Room Making: Cleaning and Bed Making

KSTVET conducted a hands-on practical session on Room Making: Cleaning and Bed Making to equip students with essential housekeeping skills required in the hospitality industry.

This training focused on professional standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and presentation to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction in hotel operations.

In celebration of the upcoming Valentine’s Day, KSTVET organized a special Valentine’s Day Sales event, featuring a delightful range of student-prepared culinary creations and thoughtfully curated gift items.

The event provided students with practical exposure to real-world business operations, allowing them to apply skills in marketing, customer service, product presentation, and sales strategy. It also encouraged creativity, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking.

10 February 2026 – Online Courses - Food Handling and AI

KSTVET introduced a series of Online Courses aimed at equipping students and professionals with globally recognised digital and technology skills aligned with current industry demands.

18 January 2026 – Perhimpunan Agung PPP KE-72 2026

The 2026 General Assembly of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), held in January 2026 after being postponed from late 2025, served as a key political gathering for the party’s leadership and delegates in Kuala Lumpur. Attended by thousands of representatives from across the country, the assembly focused on unity, reconciliation, and defining the party’s strategic direction ahead of future national elections.}

Particular highlights included efforts to ease internal divisions and strengthen the party’s collective resolve, with senior leaders emphasizing the importance of clarity and cohesion at the grassroots level. The event also provided a platform to outline UMNO’s role within Malaysia’s unity government and its approach to coalition politics moving forward.}
